Dung beetles prove resilient in bushfires

The valuable little critters fast becoming a best friend to the cattle producer, dung beetles, appear to have held their numbers relatively well in bushfire ravaged regions.

Scientists have been pleasantly surprised by the abundant and diverse populations they are finding as they conduct surveys in burnt out areas of the NSW south coast and South Australia's Adelaide Hills.
