Mingenew-Irwin Group
Rachel Mason is the project Officer at the Mingenew Irwin Group (MIG). Rachel undertakes the trapping and breeding for MIG. Part of her role is engaging farmers and increasing their knowledge on dung beetles out in the field and through workshops and events. As Rachel is a dung beetle enthusiast herself, she enjoys the opportunity to educate farmers on dung beetles and increase the awareness of the important role they play. This is one of the many projects that she is involved in at MIG, including helping farmers with feral pest control, environmental work and livestock projects.
