Abstract Note

Aphodius haemorrhoidalis is reported from cattle dung in pasturelands in the state of Durango, Mexico, based on collections made in late September 1993. It co-occurred with the introduced dung beetles Digitonthophagus gazella [Onthophagus gazella], Euoniticellus intermedius [Oniticellus intermedius] and Aphodius lividus, the probable introduced species A. nigrita, and the native Canthon (Boreocanthon) puncticollis.
