Alberto Zamprogna

Alberto joined the CSIRO European Laboratory in Montpellier in November 2018. Alberto is originally from Italy, but he has lived in many different European countries and speaks several languages.  Alberto completed his Master degree in Agroecology at Wageningen University (The Netherlands). His thesis focussed on edible insect rearing, where he gained valuable and relevant experience to the dung beetle project. His main role in DBEE is to develop protocols to rear dung beetle species under laboratory conditions and learn about their biology. His passion for insect photography has also been an asset to the project.
